During a trip to Portland, Oregon, I created a series of in-camera double exposures that blend self-portraits with natural landscapes. The process began with self-portraits taken against both black and white backdrops. While exploring the forests around Portland, I captured various perspectives of the surrounding environment, which I then used to double expose the portraits. The intention behind this series was to evoke a surreal and dreamlike atmosphere through the merging of human presence and organic form.
